"Royal Rayong" has a woody and herbal opening. No traces of sweetness, it is more bitter, woody, earthy, and spicy.
 
The greener elements fade, leaving you with a woody, earthy, mineral, slightly spicy scent.
 
Those notes slowly disappear until you’re left with just a somewhat smoky aged wood scent with some resinous presence.
 
The honey-like texture is thicker than the other oud oils and it has excellent projection and lasting qualities to go with it.
